In addition to the trading business, Barnet India offers warehousing and distribution services in and out of the port of Mumbai to our customers and suppliers. In addition to our main sales office, we have sales teams and warehouses from where we serve the entire Indian subcontinent from three strategic locations – Bhiwandi (West), Noida (North) and Chennai (South).
Our Polymer business has evolved to become a formidable arm of Barnet India. We import, stock & distribute polymers including PA66, PBT, ABS besides others – while serving more than 150 customers in the Automotive, E &E, Industrial & Textile segments. In performance chemicals, we import specialties from reputed manufacturers in Italy, Netherlands and Germany. Our markets are FR cables, automotive, wood plastic composites, industrial packaging, recycled polymers, aluminium composite facades, pipe coating, multilayer pipes, acrylic solids, polymeric insulators, TPE, masterbatches, etc. Regarding our patented antistatic yarn, in addition to our traditional trading business, we have a strategic partner – Banthiya Textiles, who weaves our antistatic yarn into fabrics. Together, we are going to market with them to stimulate demand in the supply chain. We are targeting industries such as automotive paint shops, companies with industrial cleanrooms and food processing companies. We support Indian customers to provide them access to such technical innovations.
Barnet India offers an extensive portfolio of specialty fibers for a variety of industrial, PSA applications for spinning and nonwovens and used in segments such as insulation, filtration and heat protection.We also naturally offer recycled products derived from post-consumer and post-industrial waste. We initiate programs between suppliers in India and customers abroad where we qualify a specialized yarn/fiber and then honour contracts with repeat orders to maintain good and reliable business relationships with our suppliers. We have long-term relationships with many different suppliers who rely on our global customer network.
Our technical support includes joint laboratory studies & plant trials, definition of standards and guidelines for selection of machines and formulations, and optimization of process and final product. Here we are already very close to the customer in the development process.
