Thermal insulations prevent the loss of thermal energy and protect against cooling or heating. In accordance with the often large temperature differences, especially in industrial environments and plant construction, the selection of suitable insulation materials is linked to very different specifications. For example, completely different insulating materials are required in the high temperature range than in extremely low temperatures.
