multi-force by Barnet is more than just a product – it is the result of close collaboration with our customers. The initiative stemmed from a clear demand: a more sustainable raw material to produce reinforcement fabrics, without compromising on quality or performance. After around a year of intensive development and testing in close partnership with our customer, we are proud to introduce our latest branded innovation: multi-force.
The development focused on two key improvements about sustainability:
Firstly, the energy consumption during production was significantly reduced – especially through a considerable decrease in heat demand. Secondly, we have eliminated the need for binders previously required for filament bonding. This makes the final product not only more environmentally friendly, but also lowers material usage.
In addition to its ecological benefits, multi-force also offers compelling economic advantages: Reduced energy and material requirements lead to lower production costs – a clear gain in terms of efficiency and competitiveness.
The newly developed hybrid yarn is used in high-performance fabrics for a wide range of technical applications – including roofing membranes, tensile structures, floor coverings, and pool liners.
