William Barnet & Son, LLC has announced the retirement of William “Bill” V. McCrary Jr, Chairman & CEO of William Barnet & Son, LLC, effective today. Bill McCrary joined William Barnet & Son, Inc. in 1970, and served in various positions for over 50 years.

Bill played a critical role in the growth and success of barnet, instilling his commitment to remain true to the fundamentals that define barnet’s success, and on which our company was founded.

Bill mentioned often “How fortunate he was to work for a company that truly cares about its associates, where associates care about one another, and associates, who in turn, care about the company.” He credits the company’s longevity to employees’ loyalty, dedication, and hard work.

As our company grew to a global organization, Bill invested in strategic supplier and customer relationships around the world. Many of those relationships expanded into personal friendships over the years.
