United Way of Piedmont Awards

The distinguished Chairman’s Award
goes to Byrd Miller!

Last week, the United Way of the Piedmont held their Corporate and Community Leaders Breakfast, where they announced their corporate award winners from last year. These organizations and people are recognized for their extraordinary leadership during the UWP’s annual fundraising campaign.

This year, the distinguished Chairman’s Award was presented to Byrd Miller of William Barnet and Son!

Byrd is a corporate leader who has volunteered and supported United Way for over 40 years!
He got his start with United Way as a loaned executive and eventually made his way to serving on the Board of Directors.
He also served as the Campaign Chair and received United Way’s prestigious Morgan Award for his generous support.
Byrd is a strong advocate for United Way and always willing to help his community.
